Bella Lopez 

Hey, everyone! My name is Bella Lopez, I am the Art Designer and creator of the Celestial Beings Digital Tarot Collection. I’ve come a long way to become the Artist I am today. I started drawing with pencil and paper around the age of 12, recreating drawings and images that I saw online or in public places in order to teach myself how to create black and white drawings. I ended up going to an art school around 13 years old where I learned to draw comic book style art, but I soon dropped out because I wanted to focus on my school work. I shut out the glowing part of myself that art manifested in for years after that. It wasn’t really until I was about 17 that I decided to start again. I began painting on the walls of my childhood bedroom, just random subjects and scenes that came to my mind. At the time, I was struggling with depression and other mental health issues, and my art became a very powerful form of expression not only for myself but for those around me that were experiencing similar struggles.

 

Recently I have been manifesting my artistic talents through my custom hand-painted sneaker business called Kick Ass Kicks, and I also began an apprenticeship at Body Art and Soul Tattoo shop in Philadelphia, but I am still at the beginning of my artistic journey.

 

Most of my inspiration comes from nature scenes or things that I come across in my daily life, such as a cool design on a coin or a shelf full of tea pots, and I immediately want to draw or paint it. For me, art is found in the simplicity of life and everywhere we find ourselves everyday. Connect with me on social media!
